    Lol, Warwick!

You should have been in court with me last week (I was a McK Friend in a parking charges case).
The DDJ totally ignored the relevant legislation, said it only applied to car parks (wrong..it applies to any relevant land).
When we tried to point out his error, he said that it's his interpretation that counts!
He then said that we could count ourselves extremely fortunate that he didn't award costs against us for unreasonable behaviour.
Apparently for the heinous crime of offering legal argument in defence.
    But we won (claim dismissed).
I can only think that he took a personal dislike to us*.

(*When I say us, it must have been my mate.....what's not to like about me, lol!)

It must have been your argument then

Seriously though, it does explain why a good well reasoned defence and good straightforward answers are needed. To me it is just another travesty of our system where 'they' do what they can to keep 'us' in our place. Even worse some of the 'us' are manipulated to think we are the 'them' but in fact are just used as tools to keep the rest of us in our places.

It wasn't really an argument, more of a slight difference of opinion.
That being that he thought he was right....

So, MMF have replied today with their usual rubbish about putting the matter on hold and it can take up to 30 days to supply what I requested. They sent my £1 cheque back as well? Not sure why.

Anyway, doesn't surprise me as I recall it took them about 5 months to respond regarding an alleged HSBC debt.

The 12 working days for the CCA request are up on Friday - assuming still no Credit Agreement - what next?

By the way, thanks for all the other advice regarding logging a complaint with WDA, however I've not gone down that route yet.

Well hopefully they will stick to their word and put the matter on hold until they produce the CCA which I suspect they may very well do.

Can I ask why you haven't gone down the complaint to WDA yet, it would seem that you really should because, and trust me on this, WDA are very slow at responding and you will probably have to go to the CSA and/or FOS to get any resolution.

I had a WDA loan which I had rolled and rolled and rolled and the final balance was about £975 - sold to MMF but after enough complaints it was returned to the OC i.e WDA and I have heard nothing more. I never took a complaint through though because this was from 2012 before the new 'rules' came into force
