  • Advantis and Vanqui working together?

    Hi,

Hoping someone can help. I have an unpaid utility bill from 2014 which I was defaulted on. Recently I got an alert that my credit file had been accessed and it looked like a debt agency. I then received a letter from Advantis saying they were trying to locate me. I ignored this and received another letter regarding the debt and outstanding money I owed. I steamed the letter open, resealed it and sent back as return to sender not known at this address. My credit card company vanquis then texted me asking me to confirm that my old address, as I had moved, was my correct address. Which I replied no then received a text asking me to confirm my address which I haven’t. Do Advantis and Vanquis work together? If so could Vanquis take my credit card away? Also can they make me pay the debt? Any help or advice would be really appreciated

Advantis DCA etc are probably been appointed to contact you and try and collect, your address on credit file up to date?

better to state here details - in default of payments? how long ago, default date> etc etc vanquis if you are in arrears could/may have put a block on your card ( stop you raking up balance and chance they never see the monies again) , they if you fail to pay up can then sale to Debt purchaser who will hound you and if not paid try for a CCJ against you on and on and on
