Do you know what this alleged debt might be for?

If you have no idea then maybe send a CCA request to find out what it is about

If you do know what it is about, you have to consider why they are offering a discount so
    What is the debt
    When was it opened
When did you last make a payment

Relatively recently they sent me a 75% discount offer which I ignored

If you have mental health difficulties i would suggest that you highlight this to them early on, if they proceed to treat you unfairly then this can be raised in a complaint to the ombudsman or if the matter progresses to Court.
