  • Double question on credit files

Two questions on credit files please
    1) If you have an AP marker on your file which isn't true and you challenge it , can you get it changed to a default from say 3 months after you defaulted or would it become a new default. I have a PDL that show AP for best part of a year yet I haven't paid a penny. I may have sent an email saying i will contact you when I have some income but that would be all.

    2) If I decided to settle that debt would that AP mark still be there and for how long i.e would it still show for 6 years or whatever
