    Re: Care proceedings

    Hi Kristukas,
    Are you a party to the proceedings? If you are would it be easier to ask for copies of papers from any representative you used if you have mislaid your copies?
    Bearing in mind the confidential nature of these sorts of proceedings the Courts will not routinely provide copy documents to all who ask.
    If you are not one of the following:-(a)a party,
    (b)the legal representative of a party,
    (c)the guardian ad litem,
    (d)the Legal Aid Board, or
    (e)a welfare officer;
    then you would only be able to obtain a copy of any order made by the Court (for a fee), unless the Court makes a further order to release any copy proceedings to you.
    If you wish to have more than a copy of a previously made Order, then an application to the Court would be necessary.
    I am a qualified solicitor and am happy to try and assist informally, where needed.

    If in doubt you should always seek professional face to face legal advice.
