Your post is rather cryptic, could you give more details?
Presumably you are wondering if the deceased person has outstanding medical bills when they passed away, is that debt recoverable from any benefit due from a life insurance?
Need to know what sort of bills, what sort of life cover, to whom life benefit is payable etc
