We reached the end of a 4 year finance deal and handed back our fiat to FCA. The have come back with a £952 bill 6 weeks after the car was picked up. They are requesting payment for a new carpet for wear and tear and £261 for excess mileage. There are a few other ridiculous charges that add up to the sum.
I would welcome advice on the following:
Can I dispute excess mileage when have reached the end of the finance period (4 years)?
Any advice on what we should say in our dispute e-mail to them? we did not take any pics before the inspection.
