    If I work for an agency and receive payslips showing income tax and NI deductions am I entitled to Statutory Sick Pay even though the say the don’t pay sick pay ?

    Statutory sick pay is payable to those employees who have gross weekly earning in the last eight weeks or more on the lower earning limit for paying national insurance contributions. If an employee is in the salary bill, then the average weekly income is calculated according to the actual income paid (ieminus salary)
