  • Voluntary termination

Hello, I’ve got in a battle with FCA finance company. They are tryzing to charge me for excess mileage and various bits of damage so they say to the vehicle. It was on pcp 4 year contract. I terminated for genuine reasons after 3 half years.
I have used a template letter from this site to dispute the claim but they have responded with £100 off excess mileage as a good will gesture. The total bill they are trying to recoup is £1,600 which I cannot afford and I’m asking can they take me court and likely hood of them winning .
    Thank you Dawn.

Hi Dawn. I have also just sent FCA automotive services the template letter from this site as I voluntarily terminated my PCP in November 2017, when they collected the car. It's only today that I've received an invoice for excess mileage, a scuffed alloy wheel and collection charge. I think what I've taken from the advice on this site is to stick to your guns as legally enforcing any charges would be costly and unlikely to be successful for them. Hopefully someone with more experience will be able to provide a more constructive response!
