  • Council tax debt

    Good morning
I have received a letter through the post from greater Manchester accounts and enforcement agency unit for a unoaid council tax bill as I've always worked part time I have never been able to keep up with the amounts the council tax were asking of me so they started to take a percentage via attachment of earnings which was great. When I came out if work I played nothing as I was getting no benefits or money and they continued to send bailiffs to my house ...the debt has no been sent back to the council tax office and there is steps they will take against me including arrest and bailiffs again ..as once again I'm on a low wage 322 pound a month I will struggle to pay the 1199 bill slough as always I am willing to pay of this debt weekly ! I've tried ringing the offices - but there's never any answer ..please could you give me some advice in the matter please ..veey worried??
