  • Inspection of Documents after Standard Disclosure

I have been given a standard disclosure list by the claimant ( I am the defendant) the order says with inspection within 2 weeks thereafter, but how do I ask for the inspection?

    Hello

Inspection is a request to see the original copy and the rules on inspection are set out in the CPR under 31.15 (click here for link). To do so you must write to them and give notice that you want to inspect the document. They must allow you to do so within 7 days of receipt of the request.

You can of course choose not to inspect the documents and request copies but where the case relates to something like fraud or dishonesty, you should consider inspecting the original. Equally, issues as to non-receipt of documents might mean you want to inspect the documents.

If you have a question about the voluntary termination process, please read this guide first, as it should have all the answers you need. Please do not hijack another person's thread as I will not respond to you
