    Car Parking Charge: Debt Recovery Plus / UK Car Parking Solutions

    In September 2017 I was visiting some friends and had a valid permit for the private car park attached to the building in my car. However, on return to my car, I had a parking ticket. I have had 3 letters from UK Car Parking Solutions since then which I have ignored. Today I received a letter from Debt Recovery Plus Ltd, stating UKCPS had asked them to collect the payment, asking for £160. Do I pay this or do I ignore?
    The letters I have received are very similar in style which makes me think it is a scam.. but I am worried as they are very persistent!

    Debt is like any other trap, easy enough to get into, but hard enough to get out of.

      Do not pat DRP...they are merely a 3rd party stranger to the alleged debt & as such cannot take any legal action by themselves.

      I'm puzzled....if you had a valid permit to park, what exactly is the beef?

        Not a good idea to ignore UKCPS. What are they accusing you of doing? You will probably need to use your friend's lease to defend this so start asking your friend.
