The word 'incredible' is too often used these days.

It's too readily used for things that should really be described as 'notable' or 'surprising'.

But this is truly incredible and must rank as the most damning indictment of Bankers ever written.

The ''independant'' inquiry that the former HBOS chief ordered to look into the concerns raised by whistleblower Paul Moore and found that there was no substance to them was conducted by top beancounters KPMG.

And who were and still are the HBOS auditors who have earned tens of millions giving HBOS a consistantly clean bill of health? Step forward KPMG.
