My missis is in the same boat, luckily I bank with RBS and have accounts with other banks and was able to give her a card of mine then deposit some cash for her to carry on life as normal until they sort their mess out.

She can log on to their app today, but her balance is wrong... so the saga continues.

Well my other half has managed to login and able to do some transfers, so it seems to be working for her. She was one of those people however, who was able to see someone elses account information. Makes me wonder, if she could see someone else's I wonder who or how many were able to login and access account information?!

I can't even login, following their route for "not able to login" I get get a message that my user ID has an incorrect format! Hello...... This is the User ID I have been using for about 15 years and is written down and also remembered by my browser. Gave up after 55 minutes of hanging on to the phone. Hope that there's still money in my accounts!

The latest from mine is that she could log in, there's lots of debits and credits here, there and everywhere. She's hoping that her accounts isn't one of those seen by others with those debits being them trying to have her money.

The news latest is things are only working 50% and now TSB have admitted defeat to call in outside help.

Somebody will have to fall on the sword, the Chairman on R4 this morning was clearly making noises it wasn't him
Sorry i'm just thinking out loud, it might be irrelevant, I am not employed in anyway in the legal profession, please ensure you research any advice I give before using it I have been known to be wrong on multiple occasions.

The CEO has said he has taken direct control of this now and the parties resolving it are reporting directly to him, reading between the lines I think someone might already have fallen on their sword and TSB will be recruiting a new CTO once this shambles is over.

It's definitely been a shambles ... I've not been able to transfer money or view my accounts since Friday evening, and only managed this morning after 3 attempts

I'm looking into changing banks after this has all finished

My missis wants compo off them and then she's off too.

I think I have pretty much banked with them all at sometime or another, but RBS has always been the main because I used to work for them and know their systems/processes intricately - helps getting compo when they cock up

My missis has decided on Barclays, she's a perpetual loser of her debit card and they have a facility where you can phone up to order a new one to collect in branch within a few hours instead of having to wait days.

I say balls to these old banks with their legacy systems and shocking customer service. I know TSB is meant to be a new bank, but it smells distinctly old to me! I signed up recently with Starling Bank, because they have no fees for using the card abroad. It's Android or iPhone app only, which I appreciate may put some off, but they have their technology and customer service down to a fine art. The application process was very simple and quick. No branches might be a downside for some, but I only go into a branch to pay in a cheque. With Starling, you can post it in, which I class as a win. :-)
