    I don't think you have anything to apologise for!

    I spoke with you once regarding a potential claim against me for an old credit card debt. It was an MBNA account sold to Allied Global and the solicitor was Restons.

    In the event the debt purchaser didn't take it any further, even though the sum involved was £8k.

    Seriously, I think the very fact that I told them I would be instructing you was enough to make them go away. There must have been a flaw in their paperwork which they knew you would pick up on.

    There are plenty of people out there who have got a lot to thank you for!
