Debt is like any other trap, easy enough to get into, but hard enough to get out of.

        • Inserting links seems a bit strange, the text is no longer highlighted as a link but a snapshot of the page is added below, which doesn't look good and doesn't always give a correct link. I did tick the box which said don't show the snapshot (or somthing like that) but it didn't seem to make a difference.

Yes iI'm not sure how all that works yet, the top link seems to be right and the bold url below it just goes to home page. Mine doesn't seem to do it though. I'll pop it on list to look at

              • Yes it only happens if you click the Inset Link button - I'm lazy so just paste it in as text and let it parse itself.

So really we don't want the Bold url bit showing I think, as it goes to homepage rather than specific page, then it's actually quite nice I think.

now have removed the bold link so you'd ( hopefully ) click on the title link (I'll make that bold shortly - and a bit bigger - and add another screenshot of your post)

                      Sorted.... any better?

                      • Thanks for looking at it but being lazy and pasting in a link, especially a very long one, looks terrible. I do it on another site when I am using the tablet and it looks horrible

                        • It shortens them, or you can type the words, click the cog button ( between the smiley face and paperclip ) , highlight the words, LINK HERE, click the linky button and paste the link in the pop up box.... bit of a drag I know.

OR you can paste the link lazy wise https://www.lexisnexis.com/uk/lexispsl/employment/home post the post then go back and edit the text ... aka LEXIS NEXIS ( I usually leave first and last letter in, highlight rest and overtype what I want then delete first and last character )

Not perfect but way of getting around it. The links do parse themselves pasting directly and shorten themselves with ...'s .
                          https://www.lexisnexis.com/uk/lexisp...gin=paHomePage ( a long link for example )

                              • Ame----I still don't understand how Notifications & Subscribed Threads work.

On previous versions--I received notifications (via Settings) of posts on threads I had posted on AND threads I specifically activated as Subscribing to.

I now get subscribed threads for subjects other than above ??

Is it connected to Friends List? or even to Members who have posted previously on my Subscribed threads?

Just clicked Exc Profile & Started Threads & I'm subscribed to all of them--ie the latest even that he raised yesterday on Debt Management Bosses?? ( have DISMISSED about 47 today that I did not expect)

                                Turbs xx
