Needless to say he's still got this on the BPO website.

Their is NO Adjudication against UKPassportOffices.co.uk nor any “Upheld” complaint against the accusation that our website could be confused as a government resource or that customers could be “mislead” into believing that they were paying for the passport fee when using our website. The A14-273276 investigation found at: http://www.asa.org.uk/Rulings/Adjudi...x#.VJGCkiusV8E is no longer active due to the error in the executives investigation.
Those who wish to validate that this is the case should contact the ASA on: 020 7492 2222

We've obtained the notification of the judge's decision - attached.

The judicial review application was refused on all three grounds for being 'not arguable'. Additionally ground 2 was refused due to a ''document unmentioned'' in the claimant's grounds.

Costs of £10,000 were awarded against the claimant.

We understand that UK Services & Support Ltd intends to appeal.

Blimey, £10k for ' costs of preparing the Acknowledgment of Service ' seems a tad extreme. Presumably it also includes the representation at the hearing and preparation of the ASA's defence.

Just goes to show, if you're going to bring a Judicial Review case on a whim, DON'T.

            I assume so.

I've got the actual judgment now.

One day services are off .... not quite sure what the third paragraph actually is meant to mean ? Ideas on a postcard....

Her Majesty’s Passport Office operate a Cancellation & Refund Policy (found here >>) that would appear to breach the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 & Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 & Consumer Rights Acts because some consumers are paying up to £128 for a service and receiving nothing in return and so we are concerned that they maybe operating a scam.

Third party websites have to abide by consumer protection regulations (or face jail) and so so should government departments. We are also concerned that if he who shall not be named gets wind of this then Gov.uk could soon become 2016′s most featured passport website in his Sunday newspaper.
Seems to be accusing the government of breaching consumer protection regs - saying it's a FREE PASSPORT with a CHARGEABLE APPOINTMENT ?

but the rest of the website is still up and running.

Annoying question - have a read of that article ( just go to the link in the red text image ) - and go through the 'book an appointment' passport pages on the gov.uk website.... does he have a point ?
