Warning new hoax emails

Two new hoax emails have been reported in the last few days.

1 - Reportedly from BBA's dormant account department but is in fact an attempt to get recipients to reveal their personal details

The British Bankers' Association has been the subject of a hoax email. The email appears to come from the BBA's dormant accounts department, but is in fact an attempt to get recipients to reveal their personal details.

We can confirm this was not sent by anyone at the British Bankers' Association. The email appears to come from an email address ending "@bba.org". This address is not owned or used by the British Bankers' Association.
Please delete the e-mail immediately.
Do not respond to the e-mail or access any links within the email.
The British Bankers' Association will never send e-mails that ask for confidential or security information. If you are concerned that you may have divulged any details of accounts please contact your bank immediately.
