  • Nissan RCI Finance Voluntary Termination VT - Excess Millage

    Hi,

I know there are already a lot of posts of excess millage but they all seem to be old / none in 2017/18.
I'm about to VT on my Nissan Pulsar. I'm 12,000 miles over what I should be not the PCP and it's almost £1000 charge (7p per mile)

RCI Nissan Finance told me over the phone today that I shouldn't believe what I read online and that they will 100% pursue me for the excess millage and will win.
Have the rules changed or am I still ok to ignore these charges?

My car otherwise is in immaculate condition. It's almost 3 years old with 37,000 miles on.

    Thanks!

      Hi Mike,

In addition to what Huxie has suggested, I've just updated the VT Guide and added some extra thought on the excess mileage its at the bottom of the page

If you have a question about the voluntary termination process, please read this guide first, as it should have all the answers you need. Please do not hijack another person's thread as I will not respond to you
