Hi,
I am looking to VT my PCP in February when I reach the 50% paid mark. My only concern is that the misses managed to scrape one of the bumpers on a wall the other day. The damage isn't massive, but the scrape does look like it has went through to the bumper. I went to Mercedes the other day to review my options, and the salesman looked at the car when he was valuing it, and seemed to think it would come out without a respray, but im not so sure. What is the scenario with any damage to the car in a VT situation? Will they be able to charge me for any damage, as I have paid 50%? Can they refuse to VT my contract due to the damage. I was thinking about getting the issue sorted prior to starting the VT process, has anyone had any dealings with Mercedes and damage charges?
