MET parking services fine for breaking down in mc Donald's

Hi I'm just wondering if someone could help me
our car battery died whist we had been thou the drive thru in mc Donald's we ended up staying there for about two hours waiting for a friend to come and jump start but just before he came my husband turned the key and it started, I wrote to them and told them this they reduced the fine to £50 and want proof that we broke down, which we can't really prove.

Not sure if they are taking what you wrote as an appeal or not. I would be speaking to the manager and ensuring that i had appealed.
