  • FAO mystery1: Civil Enforcement Ltd - County Court - 2015 incident

    Hi

Having received a county court claim from civil enforcement ltd, for a car park incident from 2015, I'm hoping someone on here can advise me on what to do next?

I have emailed contactcentre@sra.org.uk as others have been instructed to do, but don't know if I should file acknowledgement of service or wait until details of particulars are received?

I'm currently juggling working full time and looking after my terminally ill mum (not looking for sympathy, just want to be honest that I can't commit to hours of online research I would normally, so would really appreciate any/all help you can give?)

    thank you

If you don't acknowledge with fourteen days of the date the claim was issued you will end up with a judgement by default.

I understand you look at these when you can, I'm just worried I won't run out of time?

Edit to suit. Please note para 12 sentence 1 and para 7 sentence 2 and delete if untrue.

                              thanks Mystery1,

With reference to paragraph 7 and 12 - what if I wasn't sure who was driving the vehicle at that time?

We're going back a little while and I'm the main driver but not the only one. Is it best to delete these sentences if I can't be certain?
