• Please help @mystery1 - County court claim form

    Hi mystery1

On 18.02.12 my mum parked in a McDonalds car park. She thinks the car park says maximum stay 90 minutes which she didn't exceed but may have returned several times. She is able to go back to the car park to check but she has now received a country court claim form.

We have ignored all previous letters but this one now look serious.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

File acknowledgement of service and search other claims for my email to sra about schwartz. Kati might find it and post it here.

Thanks, I have sent the email and completed the acknowledgement of service. What is the intended outcome of this? I'm not sure my mum has a defense as she cannot remember that day.

I suggest you contact the SRA.

              Dear Sir/Madam,

I write to you to enquire about Mr Michael David Schwartz #118966 who was/is subject to control of practice as per http://www.sra.org.uk/consumers/soli...ticle?decision

It is my understanding that "Mr Schwartz shall act as a solicitor only in employment, the arrangements for which have been approved by the SRA."

As he is lodging claim forms with the courts, i would like to enquire if any arrangements are in place to allow him to do so ?

              Yours Sincerely

This has no effect on the court timescales and we must keep to those.

mystery1 will likely point this out but the dates are before the introduction of the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 (1/10/2012) as such only the proven driver can be liable so remove any references to who was driving that day.

Sorry mystery1 I didn't get a notification of this post so just seen it. There are no inaccuracies, and my mum can't really remember the incident either! Not much help I know

Ok, i noticed that the 2nd page of the particulars was missing so kind of guessed. Check 10,11,12 which may need altering.

Hiya, sorry for the delay mystery1 . Thanks so much for the defense, the court have received it and the claimants have 28 days to respond so I guess it's just the waiting game now. I have had a reply from the SLR that says the following, shall I send them the info they want?

                            Dear Sir/Madam

                            Thank you for your e-mail.

Please forward a copy of the claim form signed by Mr Schwartz.

                            Yours faithfully
