  • MET parking fine due to car overheating

Hi all, I've received a £100 parking fine from MET for overstaying in the McDonalds carpark at Gatwick.
Having drive nearly 300 miles, I went in to eat there. When I got back into my car after 45mins, it wouldn't start. I phoned a mechanic friend of mine and he said to let the engine cool down before attempting to start it again. Which I did.
I left it about an hour and got it home.
I then received a £100 fine for overstaying, which I have challenged and explained the situation.
If that appeal fails, can I take it any further??
    Any help will be welcome
    Many Thanks

Yes you can go to popla and if that loses see if they take you to court.

If you get a popla code seek advise BEFORE you appeal.

"I" is a word that makes my live harder trying to help people. Takes a potentially good winning point off of the table (keeper liability)
