Hi I've received well my husband did charge from MET for overstaying by 11 minutes at MC Donald's Gatwick. He wasn't the driver I was I rushed in & didn't read the signs needing the loo anyway had a coffee & on my way out got stopped by a lovely couple looking for directions. I then went round to the short stay carpark to pick up my son unaware I had outstayed the 60 minutes at McDonald's should I just pay & lesson learnt. Not saying £50 is going to be easy to find but if I go through the dispute procedure it will double to £100 please help

If you appeal, lose then appeal to popla the discount is gone. Popla is very winnable but not guaranteed.

The driver left within the grace periods defined by section 13 of the BPA code of practice being an initial time to enter, digest and accept the terms and a further 10 minutes grace period to eit.
