• Parking Eye PCN

    Hi,

I have just received a PCN from Parking Eye.

The driver bought a ticket to park for 6 hours but overstayed by 54 minutes.

The PCN is for £100 or £60 if paid early.

Can I appeal on the grounds that this amount is unfair? If so is there a template appeals letter available?

    thank you

    Re: Parking Eye PCN

    I'd appeal.

    Dear Sirs,

I, as registered keeper, wish to invoke your appeals procedure. The driver tried to pay extra but could not/ was ill causing a delay/ etc .In any event your charges are penal in nature and not a genuine pre estimate of loss.

I am under no statutory obligation to name the driver and will not do so.

If you reject my appeal please supply a popla code.

    Yours etc

If they supply a popla code please return and i'll sort out a popla appeal for you.

Change the red bit to suit your circumstances.

    M1

          Re: Parking Eye PCN

Email it to admin@legalbeagles.info and Amethyst will hopefully have time to put it up.

If it says piss off but includes a popla code that's fine.

                  Re: Parking Eye PCN

I'd just leave it until you hear back from them. That way we can hopefully see what the court of appeal says in Beavis. You've already said you won't name the driver.

                      Hi,

Can I send latest letter from Parking Eye to Amethyst to upload? It is too large to attach.

                      Thanks
