Thanks I will post up a pic this evening.

Actually the more I think about it their fine has stated that I have parked without a valid permit ... however I do have a valid permit.. so shouldn't the fine state that I have parked in the incorrect bay - they've written all the fines as if I do not have a parking permit at all. Just a thought.. not sure if it will make any difference.

Well that depends on a few things. First and foremost if there is a requirement to display then if you did display and then if each permit is space specific.

My permit is always displayed and shown in their own pictures of the fine.

However the bays are numbered - so the permit is space specific.

Re: Private Parking Company threatening Court Action / CCJ

            Hello all,

I wonder if you can help again! please..

I've received a letter from the court basically stating that I have a CCJ as I failed to respond to the documentation. However I never received any further documents from the court and the defense documentation relating to this parking claim was not put in the original letter from the court advising me that the parking company were taking me to court.

I sent back my 1st letter by recorded delivery and I have checked online and it has been received. In addition to this I have emailed the court however they have not responded! Now I am really concerned as I did not get a chance to put in my defense and I have a CCJ!

            Please help!

Someone has told me I need to fill in a N244 form to set aside the CCJ however it costs £155 to put in this form. I don't think the court should benefit from me paying them a fee when they have made the mistake!

            What can I do?

Phone the court and see what they say.
