    Ignore and file, they are merely debt collectors.

    If you get something like a letter before claim then come back.

          They are purely acting as debt collectors as pointed out in their letter. There is no debt and therefore they can not take any action.

            Thank you, so much.

            The language they use is very heavy-handed, (describing themselves as high court enforcement and bailiffs), although it did set alarm bells off when at the bottom of the letter it said that this case is not subject to High Court or Bailiff action - I thought they may be trying scare tactics.

            You've been hugely helpful, and have set my mind at ease somewhat - thank you.
