    Hi everyone.

Need some help I've recieved intial letter from APCOA parking ltd, for parking contravention at a hospital the Glasgow Royal Infirmary, but i was not the driver at the time of the incident, and one of my ex employees was, i wrote to them in writing to notify that i was not the driver of the vehicle intially told them who the driver was, they ignored my letter, and sent me a follow up i ignored it, then it was sent onto ZZPS debt recovery who i wrote in a email that i was not the driver of the vehicle and that they cant pursue the registered keeper but only the driver and they had to prove who the driver was, and i wasnt legally obliged to tell as i jad chsmged my mind in telling them whp it was, as they ignored it the first time, tjey said there client APCOA had evidence that i was the driver i said to them to show that evidence, anyway long story short, theve forwarded ot now onto QDR solicitors who are threating to recommend to their client APCOA to another partner solicitor company to take me to court Yuill and Kyle. The amount charged intially was £60 but with all there fees has gone upto £142. Dont know what to do ignore it or contact a solicitor myself or just pay up, all advice amd help would be grateful.

You've talked to them and they think they have someone to pressurise.into paying. They have only said recommended court action, which is yet more bluff, as they are probably acting as debt collectors and of course if APCOA take it to court then they don't get paid, not a sensible business model.

Pull together any sort of evidence that you were elsewhere at the time of the alleged incident, receipts, signed statements etc and that letter confirming the identity of the driver at the time and forward it to APCOA telling them to pull off their goons as you were not driving at the time and there can be no keeper liability in Scotland. Any further contact on the matter will be considered harassment and may result in action being taken against them.
