  • Don’t shout at me....

Ok so I know this is bad and it was NOT INTENTIONAL, I parked in a disabled bay. It’s the car park under my gym and I used it every day and genuinely didn’t realise. I have a ticket which was hand written on my car with a letter wrong in the number plate they had written and i was so happy I ignored it. I then received another in the post and it’s correct. So I’ve ignored and now have a DRP Ltd letter. Am I still ignoring? I am absolutely financially ruined and couldn’t afford this if I even wanted to pay it! I would so appreciate your help. Many thanks

Slap wrists for parking in disabled. !!!!!

First of all edit your post so that the identity of the driver is not inferred. Use "the driver......"etc.

If they don't know the identity of the driver they can go after the keeper of the vehicle, who is you. For a Notice to Keeper to be valid it has, amongst other things, have the same information on it as the original notice on the windscreen. They either had a photograph or realized that they were wrong.

Can you post up both the windscreen ticket and the Notice to Keeper with personal identifying suitably redacted, but leave in dates.

Here's POFA. The parking company have to comply with sections 7 & 8. Do they?
