  • Advice please

Hi guys, so I've recieved a letter from DRP saying I have an unpaid parking charge notic from Met parking services demanding £150 to be paid within 14 day from the 5.5.16 but have not received the original parking notice and only got this letter on the 12.08.16. What do I do? Do I have to pay it or just ignore it? Just seems odd I have not received the first letter
    Thanks in advance

      Re: Advice please

Write/email to both. They will probably say tough shit at which point you'd then file and ignore all bar court papers or a letter before claim.

      Dear Sirs,

I am i receipt of a letter from DRP for what appears to be a parking charge. I am the registered keeper of the vehicle. I have not had a notice to keeper at all and as the protection of freedom act only allows keeper liability when the statutory notice has been received within certain timeframes which has not happened then i owe you nothing.

      Please contact the driver.

      Yours etc

      M1

This is great thank you. So I do not need to pay the £150?
