Hi received 2 letters stapled togeather today one from NCP and other from Be legal for a parking charge notice which I've failed to appeal against or pay...This is the first corispondance I've received regarding a parking charge.Bwlegal are saying I have to pay £160 within 16 days of date of letter which is 16th may 160 PCN and another £60 initial costs...I have anxiety and depression and this is adding to my worries

Post up both letters with identifying details removed, leave dates. Do not identify the driver

Basically they have not got the Notice to Keeper to you within the period required to hold the keeper liable for the actions of the driver. They do not know the driver and there is no requirement to provide those details.

So write back, as the keeper, to BWLegal stating that this is the first time you have received any notice of this matter. It is therefore too late to hold the keeper liable under Schedule 4 of the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012.
