    Hi Everyone,
I am at a bit of a loss, recently after searching for a property for my business, I found one which would be ideal, the roperty is empty and has been for many years, I have done a land registry search and found the freehold to be in a company name, I have then done a search companies house search and found the company was dissolved in 2003, I then called the crown to ask them what they were doing with it, after giving them details of the property it transpires they have no clue about it and its not on their system, They offered to send me a form to fill out as they could not take the details over the phone to register it! I declined their kind offer as now my thoughts are going down the lines of entering the property and claiming squatters rights with adverse possession in 10-12years time.
Now obviously I am only an everyday person that only knows laymans law so would like some advice on potential pitfalls etc.
    Many Thanks in Advance
