  • TK MAXX Theft - Help with caution please!

Hi, first post guys. Sorry if posted in wrong section.

I was caught a few weeks back from TK MAXX security taking without paying a £20 good. Terrible human error, I've learned from my mistake.
    The police were not called.
The lady doing the paper work said she was 'cautioning' me and will pass on the details to the police and made me sign paperwork.
I have received the usual RLP letter.
As she said she has 'cautioned' me, does this mean my DBS will now show up with a caution, even though police haven't given me a verbal caution?
I have been banned from store. However as police were not involved (despite telling me that they will be forwarding details to the police), does that mean I have an official caution now against my name?
I am applying for a university course and have declared no cautions or criminal convictions.

Thank you very much guys for your help!

No nothing will show on your DBS, you have not been cautioned - TK maxxx simply do not have the power to caution ( or fine ) you.

RLP also have no powers to fine or impose a caution on you. Ignore them entirely.
