  • Police - unlawful seizure of possessions

    Hi

If the police seized possessions but they were not lawfully on a residential premises at the time of the seizure, would their action amount to trespass to goods, and if so, other than a claim for recovery of the possessions is it possible to also claim compensation for say, misappropriation?

Any advice would be most appreciated.

    Thank you

I've had a look and this is something completely out of my knowledge. Sorry.
