  • Forcing ahead with Divorce Process

    Hi
My ex's Solicitor is trying to force me to complete Form E's to proceed with the divorce, but due to a number of issues left or subsequently created since my ex leaving.
I have had a major mental health breakdown with the result I am now under the care of the community mental health team and on medication for Severe Depression and Anxiety.
Due to the financial issues created by her leaving I have had to dispense with the services of a solicitor and am having to represent myself, but don't feel I am able to make sound decisions about such matters.
Can her solicitor force me to enter into agreements whilst undergoing such care?
    Thanks

    Hi
As you are mentally not stable, no one can force you to enter into any agreements or make decisions. If your ex's Solicitor is doing so you can complain about it and ask for more time to take decision as you are unable to take on this movement. Taking the legal decision is very difficult and risky, small mistake may lead you to face a big problem in future. You can also submit your medical report to get some time of recovery.
