  • Tenants in Common

Hello. I’ve been sent a form from my ex- partner’s solicitor asking me to give my signature. It’s regarding a change from joint tenant to tenant in common. I understand this is usual practice. Is there anything I should be concerned about? My ex-partner is controlling and manipulative so I'm quite weary. Any help would be most valued.

Do you or your partner still live in the house? has any money changed or intended to change hands for the house? Is there still a mortgage on the house? Do you have children either together or by separate partners?
Sorry i'm just thinking out loud, it might be irrelevant, I am not employed in anyway in the legal profession, please ensure you research any advice I give before using it I have been known to be wrong on multiple occasions.
