  • Setting Up A Will For Couple With Two Separate Sets Of Children

A couple I know who both own their own houses are planning to move in together pooling the resources from their houses when they are both sold to buy one together. The woman has 3 children and the man has 3 as well, some of whom are adults and not cohabiting with either.

What is the best way to proceed setting up a will that accommodates the needs and entitlement of both sets of offspring in the event that one should die?

I can supply and elaborate on details if necessary.

Because its a complicated one I would advise that you seek a professional to do it for them. We've been sorting out our wills and because my OH has been married before and has children and grandkids, we also have our own home, other property and a business and it complicates things so because we want to get it right, then we sought the help of a professional.
To be honest you don't want to feel awful do you if you got it wrong.

      Thanks for your reply.

Who would be the best sort of professional to consult...solicitor?

Sorry if it came across wrong but I'm not intending to do any actual work on this, I'm just doing a recce to put my ex-sister-in-law in the right direction.
