    Urgent Assistance Needed Please......

    Hello All,

    Apologies if this is the wrong place for my thread, it is my first time! Would anyone be able to advise regarding an Employment Law issue please? Basically I applied for a job which was successful. However my current employer is refusing to release me as they are saying it is a fraudulent application as I missed a piece of information out. This was a genuine mistake which I have tried to proove to them.

    Sorry I am being deliberately vague as it would be sooooo easy to identify myself as the people I work for are all over the country!

    I can send a private message if anyone would be able help at all.

    Is this a new job with another company? In which case I can't see how your current employer can refuse to release you! Sorry a bit confusing.
