    Hi, I'm being made redundant therefore receiving redundancy pay, what is the timescale before I can the same company in a different location?

      Are you still in the redundancy process and the company is offering you a job at another (nearby) location as a suitable alternative position? In which case if it is a suitable alternative then you would transfer to that position and not be entitled to any redundancy pay.

      If you have already left the company and been paid your redundancy and if the situation has changed and the employer needs to employ someone in another location it may do so. There is no obligation to wait a certain period of time before offering re-employment. However the company themselves may choose to wait a period of one to two weeks to do so to avoid a potential situation of continuous employment.

        Thank you, you've been very helpful. I'm taking redundancy money and not accepting another job with the same company for the meantime in order to get the redundancy pay. I presume some companies may differ with how long you could be re-employed, I understand what you said about the potential situation of continuous employment, thank you very much.
