  • Fraudulant misrepresentation

    Hi,
After successfully completing a 2 day graduate assessment and interview for a 2 year graduate programme to become an Area Manager, due to my age and experience I was given a fast track route instead, I was told this would take between 6-12 months to get on the Area Manager training programme rather than the 2 year graduate path. A few months later when I started the job I was just brought in as a store manger. After a few months I questioned the lack of a fast track programme and nobody had any idea I was on a fast track programme. The company has admitted in writing that I was told I would be on a fast track programme but refuses now to do anything about it.

    Any help appreciated.

What was detailed in your original offer/contract of employment? Was the starting point regardless of whether it was the graduate or fast-track scheme you were joining going to be a store manager position?
