I have recently (19/01/2018) left the firm I worked for as I had found another job. I got my final wage less holidays that I had used (4 days) I sent a msg saying my wage was wrong and was owed 1.5+4 days they had deducted, as I took it that the financial/Holiday year at where I worked, ran from Sept, to Sept, as that is what I was told. Now I have been told the holiday yr runs from April to April. (News to me) So I then replied "If that is the case why did you not let me know that in sept 2016 when I started working here, as I would have taken the 14 days holiday (less xmas 3 days 2 bank holidays in 2017 upto April).So a full 9 days owed. You have knowingly deceived me. Out of what, I was due??????"
I have not been issued with a company handbook or letter stating the necessary rules, etc but? I did sign several bits and pieces of paper, nothing stating my pay, or holiday entitlement.
Do I have anything from this statement that anyone can help me with.
