    Particulars of Claim:
    The claimant claims the sum of 2395 being monies due from the Defendant to the Claimant under a regulated agreement originally between the defendant and HSBC Bank Plc. The defendants account number was **************** and was assigned to the claimant on 8/12/11 notice of this has been provided to the defendant. The defendant has failed to make payments in accordance with the terms of the agreement and a default notice has been served pursuant to the cCA 1974. The claimant claims the sum of 2398 and costs. The claimant has complied as far as in necessary with the pre-action conduct practice direction

    Have sent: Acknowledged the Claim, Sent a CCA request, Sent a CPR 31.14 request

    I have not had a response to the CCA or CPR requests sent, I have acknowledged online and said that I intend to defend the claim but it has been a month and I believe I now have to send a defence to the court, is this correct and if so what do I put in my defence?

    Yes your defence will be due very shortly.

    Do you know if this is a credit card / loan / overdraft ? (as its really not clear from their particulars of claim)

      Yes, this is for a credit card. I didn't manage to get around to sending it to the court today but shall definitely take a look at the example you have posted above this evening and hopefully post it tomorrow!
