    Update.
    Have received letter from solicitors, one offering me a partial settlement but did not mention any figures and one in reply to my CPR request. The first letter crossed with my CPR request.

    The second letter reads..."We acknowledge receipt of your letter. We can confirm that we will request that our client obtains a copy of the agreement, default notice and notice of assignment as per your request. We can confirm that our client will need to obtain these from the original creditor and therefore it may take up to six weeks for us to obtain these." they then go on to then agree to a 14 day extension from the date they serve me with the requested documentation to file my defence.

    Hmmm....
