  • Unjust enrichment

    Hi everyone

I'm being taken to court because I was charged the wrong price about a year ago unbeknown to me at the time.

I paid around 10k at the time but they are asking for £500 which they say they mistakenly undercharded me.

    Please advice

More details will be required, what you bought, how you bought it (payment method), was there a contract was it online, in shop, etc. the more details the better to let the Beagles assist you.
Sorry i'm just thinking out loud, it might be irrelevant, I am not employed in anyway in the legal profession, please ensure you research any advice I give before using it I have been known to be wrong on multiple occasions.

If it was agreed that the cost of the procedure was £10,500 and you agreed to that and don't dispute it then the answer is yes, the court is likely to find against you and make an order that you owe the money. Unless you can show there is a change of position with that £500 but it will depend on the circumstances.

It would also help if you could upload a copy of the claim form (personal info removed) or type it out word for word so we can understand the case against you. The less information you give us the less help you are going to get so it is best to give all information up front rather than drip feed.
If you have a question about the voluntary termination process, please read this guide first, as it should have all the answers you need. Please do not hijack another person's thread as I will not respond to you
