Ok I have just returned from court and the judgement was awarded to capquest so now I have to pay capquest around £1300 including the costs. I had all the stamps of returned items and email communication between me and very regarding account but all was dismissed and one screen shot of account balance provided by capquest was enough to award them judgement. Can anyone advice me the next step? do i call capquest and negotiate the amount?

Was the judgment awarded as a forthwith order or installments ? If forthwith then you can either negotiate directly with the judgment holder ( Capquest ) or, maybe if they won't accept your offer for installments, you can apply to court to vary the order officially to installments that are at an affordable rate ( This is form N245 which costs £50 I believe to file unless you are eligible for fee exemption )
