Hi guys in relation to my other post I thought I’d post a new thread as I have a court claim at the moment and Cabot Financial (uk) limited are listed as the claimant. Looking at the FCA register Cabot Financial (uk) limited are not listed as being licensed, Cabot Europe are listed being licensed but shouldn’t the claimant be Cabot Europe and not Cabot uk? Is their claim valid in a case like this? If so, what would stop your average joe buying a debt and pursuing it in court? Or why would a licensed company pass on and allow an unlicensed company to pursue this matter at court? Forgive me if I lack knowledge, but I have learned a great deal from this site recently and aside from being in a difficult situation, it’s been interesting to read and learn.
