  • County Court Letter From Lowell Solicitors

    Hi Guys,

Today received a county court letter from Lowell solicitors for an old o2 account.

They are stating from 30/09/14 so its not barred.

What chances do I have of getting this thrown out? They sent the letters to an old address of mine (Royal Mail redirected to me) That they or o2 have never had for me, the amount or debt does not show on my Experian credit report. I rang Lowell and said I do not recognise the debt, The woman on the recorded phone call said they would ask their trace team to look into it to see if they have the right person (they do, I was just scammed for it) - She also then told me on this phone call to 'Just ignore the court letter' even though the claim is ongoing. Can this class as some kind of entrapment for the CCJ to be defaultly won for them? Can I get a copy of the call and show the court they told me not to respond to it?

what other options do I have of getting it thrown out?

    Thanks in advance

Well you need to respond to the claim to firstly Acknowledge Service stating your intention to defend in full.

Ignore the "it's on hold" rubbish and go through the process properly. Start with the First Steps .

When you say you were scammed for it, how?

        Hi
You say you received a county court letter- what exactly was it?

Was it an actual claim form or was it something else

Have you ever had an account with O2 or do you mean you are the victim of identity theft?

O2 don't report to all the CRAs.
