  • Reply Cabot from Reston Solicitors regarding CPR request .... Help please

    Hi All

My original thread was regarding a letter stating an alleged debt to Cabot Financial that I disagree with. Sent off CPR and CCA letters and this is the reply I got from Reston's. (attached) Any advice welcomed.

Pretty much a standard response from Restons. Maybe if you hadn't specifically asked for the notice and Deed of assignment and only for 'the assignment' which they did mention they might not have been able to wriggle out

Without reading back through your whole thread I can't really say much but as Diana M has said, about UK are unlicensed - not sure just how much the claim is for which might dictate if it is viable to use a solicitor

Thanks for your reply Warwick65 .... But this is all sorted now. I have submitted my defence and am awaiting a response. Its an old post from when I first joined the forum and wasn't very sure how to use the site! I have a main thread going ... this was a new thread as I didn't get much response to start and thought I'd done it wrong so started another. Apologies for any wasted time How do I close this thread please, so as not to waste anyone's time?

          Thanks Aprilla6
