  • Consumer credit act and 3rd party rights against the insurer

Does anyone know if someone uses the 3rd party rights against the insurer act 2010, to make a claim, are they also protected under the consumer rights act 2015, should the insurance company refuse to play ball?

Also does anyone know if the Financial ombudsman service investigates complaints by people who are 3rd party as per the said act?
